I would like to thank all of you who have gone out and taken the time and money to purchase a "assault rifle" and a whole bunch of magazines. I'm not kidding, I really appreciate it. If a whole lot of folks buy them now it means that there will continue to be a good supply of these things in circulation even if we get another stinky "assault weapons ban" that will save us all from those evil flash hiders and pistol grip stocks. How many times have I seen helpless folks victimized by one of those horrible magazines that hold more than ten rounds? Well never, but that's beside the point.
I went and bought me some Magpul Pmags for my AR because despite what the idiots say about restricting hi cap mags for law enforcement only, it doesn't really work out that way. Yes, I could buy hi cap mags while we had the last ban but they were stinking expensive and hard to get. So I stocked up while they are still pretty cheap and easy to buy.
They won't be cheap or easy to find for very long though so I suggest you getcha some before they are all gone. I went back to the store where I bought mine four days after I bought them. The shelf was empty and the store owner told me that he can't get any more from the manufacturer for a long time. Someone came in and bought the entire stock of these magazines.
Good for them. These are really good sturdy mags that store well fully loaded and can take a beating. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a new AR type rifle.

Where did you find PMAGs in stock?
I haven't bought any mags, but I will be trading in a POS handgun on a new S&W M-PC. A nice black pistol.
If I find some PMAGS along the way, I'll scarf them too.
Oh, yeah! I've purchased every PMAG I've seen in the last month. Thank God that hasn't been too many, but I have quite a pile now. If not for an AWB then for the inflation of prices when people think (realize?) it's inevitable.
Yep. I bought a G3 clone and every spare mag they had on the shelf.
I got my hi cap magazines early. Because the Obamanation was in the race. And I knew what would hapeen if he got elected.
I have been buying PMAGS from Cheaper than Dirt for the last couple of months. The owner, Dewayne, is a good guy. I buy a few at a time as my budget allows. I saw the prices go from $12 to $14 then $19 and now $21 each and they are sold out.
I actually bought an AR mag before I even ordered my upper. It wasn't a PMAG but I was ordering some pistol mags and figured why not. The upper is on order now but word is from the site that it'll take 4-5 weeks. Next paycheck I'm gonna get some more mags, and stock up on ammo.
And hopefully the incoming "King of all surveyed" and his minions will have seen the run on weapons and ammo, and NOT be so stupid as to realize one of the primary possible reasons. If he does well, fine. Glad I was wrong with every bit of gut feeling I have. But...
Yeah, I bought some PMAGS from CTD, too. My 5.56 is more of a backup/bedside rifle than anything else. The 6.5 Grendel is my 'go to' rifle. Magpul does not make Pmags for the 6.5, so I had to go with C-Products. Of course, I had plenty of those to begin with, so I am just socking them away.
Don't forget that National Ammo day is coming up on Nov. 19th!
I'm about to commit a massive panic-buy myself. It will include a Smith AR and at least a half-dozen PMAG's (provided my super-secret source can hang on to 'em until the check arrives;)
Can't wait!
